Invigilators and Supervisors of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education have been ordered not to enter the exam rooms with phones in a bid to seal exam cheating.
The new directive follows the arrest of 10 suspects who are said to have been in possession of fake KCSE exam materials in exam centers
Speaking to the media at the Kibra deputy county commissioner office when he opened exam papers education Basic Education Principal secretary Belio Kipsang has said the ministry will be engaging with the communication ministry to track any cyber attackers and criminals
“It has been noted that some exam officials screenshot exam scripts and shared them on social media,” Kipsang said
To seal more cheating loopholes, the education PS has said opening of the exam containers will be done twice a day
