The International Criminal Court prosecutors and lawyer Paul Gicheru will make their final arguments in a case involving bribery of witnesses.
The witnesses were to testify against Deputy President William Ruto, over the 2007 post-election violence.
This comes at a time when Both Gicheru and the prosecution have already filed their closing written submissions.
The submissions both tally at 116 and 121 pages respectively.
Thus far Gicheru has denied helping Dr. Ruto to crumble the crimes against humanity case, which was terminated in April 2016.
The lawyer wants the court to find him not guilty of the eight counts leveled against him.
He says the Prosecution’s case is based on flawed investigations.
International Criminal Court prosecutor James Stewart and lawyer Paul Gicheru have one hour each to submit their final arguments before Trial Chamber III judge Maria Samba.
The case started on February 15. Gicheru pleaded not guilty to the all charges. During the trial, the prosecution presented eight witnesses.
