ODM Abandons move to oust Chebukati’s Team

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) brigade party members in a meeting on Thursday at the Chunghwa house, call quits their move to have Wafula Chebukati, the independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) chairperson and his team removed from the Electrol body.

Also in attendance of the convened meeting was party leader Raila Odinga.

The ODM party secretary general Edwin Sifuna aired out the Party’s verdict saying they want the commission’s chairperson to continue with their work lawfully. He says the three, Wafula Chebukati, commissioners Boya Mulu and professor Abdi Gulie who have been on the ODM’s eye have been released.

And as long as they work as the law requires , they have null issues with them

Raila Odinga was among the first to call out on Chebukati after the last general elections, is said not to have any raised concerns with the leadership of IEBC herewith and is only appealing for lawfully conduct within the Indepent body.
