Education CS George Magoha has warned Kenyans against speculating on when Kenya Certificate Secondary Education results will be released.
Addressing the press at Starehe Boys School in Nairobi he said the education ministry will communicate when the exam outcome is ready.
Magoha’s remarks were triggered by speculation that the results would be released today.
Magoha also confirmed that grade four learners in both public and private institutions will remain at home when schools reopen on Monday, until July 26th when the new school calendar year will begin.
In matters Covid-19, the minister said the voluntary Covid-19 vaccination programme for teachers will be completed by end of May.
He also urged all school heads to ensure all Covid-19 safety measures are put in place.
The schools reopen on Monday following the lifting of COVID 19 restrictions in five counties .
The restrictions were imposed end of March this year just after schools closed for the KCPE and KCSE exams to begin.
