Kiambaa Member of Parliament Paul Koinange is dead.
The MP died of Covid-19 today morning, while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has mourned Koinange as a dependable leader.
He says, Koinange’s undivided focus brought about unity, stability and progress of the nation.
President Uhuru also said the Lawmker was a keen and steadfast supporter of the country’s peace.
“Through the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security where he was the Chairperson, Hon Koinange advanced legislation and policy interventions that sought to create a peaceful, stable and tranquil nation,” said the President.
Until his death, Koinange served as the Chairperson of the National Assembly Administration and Security Committee.
He became Kiambaa Member of Parliament in 2017.
