Two suspects arraigned in court over the murder of business woman

Feb, 26th 2021 – Two suspects have been arraigned in court over the brutal murder of 38year old business woman caroline wanjiku maina.

The two, Edwin Otieno and Samuel Okoth were arraigned in Kibera law court where police are seeking 10 days to detain them to complete investigations.

The suspects were arrested on 16th February, for the offence of kidnapping the deceased alongside Stephen odour and mercy Gitiri. 

On 19th February 2021 some of the suspects led police to paranai area in kajiado county were they dumped the body caroline wanjiku maina.

A night vigil was held at a hotel in Embu where the deceased used to work before moving to Nairobi. Friends described Carol as a woman of substance who went to great lengths to ensure that her close associates are happy.

Her sister paulibne said she had lost a close friend and more of a mother than a sister. She said, “I have lost more of a mother than a sister. When we lost our big brother and my mother went to the rural home, it is Carol who took care of me in my teenage years.”

She added, “Pray that God gives you true friends as my sister died in the hands of people she thought were her best friends.”
