Deputy President Ruto to begin 3-day tour in Coast region

Feb, 3rd 2021 – Deputy President William Ruto is expected to begin a three-day tour at the Coast Region, where he will commission projects undertaken by Members of parliament allied to him. He will also lead several fundraising events for churches in the region. Ruto is set to begin the tour in Kwale County on Thursday and thereafter spend two more days in Mombasa.

Ruto’s host, Lunga Lunga MP Khatib Mwashetani said, “The DP will be in  Mwagulu town of Lunga Lunga to officiate the commissioning of projects funded by the CDF.”

For the official launch of Kwale Bulo primary and secondary schools, Ruto will be hosted by Nyali MP Mohammed Ali in his backyard.

In Mombasa, the DP will grace a youth empowerment event at Kadongo grounds in Kisauni and then later attend a fundraiser for bodaboda youth group at Frere Town grounds.

On Saturday, the DP will be in Jomvu and Changamwe constituencies for yet another set of youth empowerment events.
