The speaker of the national assembly Moses Wetangula has led a delegation of Members of parliament to view the body of the late Kasipul members of parliament Charles Ong’odo Were at the lee funeral home and called for speedy investigation in the circumstances that led to his death on April 30th.
Wetangula says parliament is willing to assist in the investigations even as he urged the DCI and the DPP to finalise the probe and punish those involved.
This, as Wetangula revealed preparations for the funeral service in Nairobi and burial of the slain Mp in Homabay are in top gear .
Wetangula further hinted at beefing the security attached to members of parliament saying plans are underway in collaboration with the national police service to upskill their apparatus whenever requested
