Pastor Kanyari, known for his controversial past, has attracted attention for a different reason on TikTok. Transitioning from the traditional pulpit to the digital stage, he has adopted a new approach marked by acts of kindness.
During a recent livestream, Tizian, a prominent TikToker, jokingly asked for prayers to revive his fame. Pastor Kanyari engaged with him and, instead of demanding an offering, surprised Tizian with financial support. Initially offering 30,000 Ksh, he later increased it to 50,000 Ksh upon Tizian’s request.
This generosity extended beyond Tizian. Pastor Kanyari disclosed that he had amassed over 400,000 Ksh in TikTok gifts, which he intended to donate to a children’s home.
Addressing past controversies, including the ‘Mbegu ya 310’ scheme, Pastor Kanyari admitted to exploiting followers out of desperation to escape poverty rather than promising miracles.
