“Pastor Dorcas Rigathi Urges Road Safety Vigilance Amidst Rising Fatalities”

Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has issued a warning to drivers regarding reckless driving that poses a danger to both motorists and the general public in Kenya.

Speaking at the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service held at Kenyatta University on April 14th, Pastor Dorcas expressed concern over the high number of fatalities and injuries resulting from accidents this year, emphasizing the need for stricter measures.

Highlighting the grim statistics, Pastor Dorcas revealed that from January 2024 to April 10th, there were 1,313 fatalities and 3,619 individuals seriously injured in accidents.

She underscored the significance of these numbers, emphasizing that each casualty represents a loved one lost, urging Kenyans to reflect on their driving habits.

In particular, Pastor Dorcas expressed sympathy for the families affected by the tragic loss of 11 students from Kenyatta University, emphasizing the profound impact of such tragedies on communities.
