President William Ruto has joined other national leaders in mourning the late President Daniel Moi’s daughter June Chebet.
In his condolences message, President Ruto has urged for strength and peace for the Moi’s family who reported the demise of their loved one this morning.
”My heartfelt condolences to the family of the late President Daniel Arap Moi over the loss of June Chebet Moi. May God give you strength at this difficult time. Rest In Peace June.” Ruto mourned
While announcing the passing of June, the Moi family spokesperson has called for privacy and prayers over the tragic death of their kin who was aged 60 years.
At this time of grief, we request for your prayers and privacy as we the family come to terms with the tragic loss of our sister. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” the family stated.
June, who is the youngest, is Moi’s adopted daughter followed by Kanu chairman Gideon Moi
Ministry of Co-operatives & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Cabinet Secretary Simon chelugui has described June as a patriot and a wonder lady.
The Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi has also added his voice in the condolence trail describing June as charismatic and charming.
”My deepest condolences to the Moi Family on the passing of June Chebet. Having personally known June, her charisma and charming demeanor were truly remarkable. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of mourning.”Musalia mourned.
