Cabinet Secretary for Defence Adan Duale has encouraged all Muslims to keep praying for the peace and stability of the nation as he joined them in observing Eid-Ul-Fitr at Eastleigh High School grounds on Wednesday.
Duale, alongside other leaders, commended the government’s decision to designate Eid-Ul-Fitr as a public holiday, considering it commendable.
“In the midst of the prayerful and contemplative atmosphere, the official recognition of Eid as a public holiday and our active involvement as leaders underscore the government’s recognition and reverence for the diverse religious customs in our nation,” Duale remarked.
He further emphasized that such actions not only foster social unity but also exhibit solidarity with the Muslim community during their religious celebrations.
