Family, friends & colleagues gather at Holy Family Basilica for Tinina’s requiem mass

Family, Friends, and colleagues of the late Rita Tinina have eulogized the journalist as a distinguished professional and accomplished mother of one.

Rita Tinina died last week of severe Pneumonia leaving behind her daughter Malaika and lover Journalist Robert Nagila

Speaking from the Holy family Basilica during her  requiem mass ICT cabinet secretary Eliud owalo has mourned the loss of the Tinina as a big blow to the media fraternity calling for the  imitation of her values in the media industry that span over twenty years.\

“To those of us who have remained behind, please let us emulate and exhibit the values that Rita exhibited while at the same time espousing the virtues she stood for,” he said.

“On behalf of everybody at the Ministry of Information Communication and the Digital Economy and by extension the executive I sincerely pass our message of condolences to the family, friends of Rita and the entire media fraternity.”

Her lover Robert Nagila has poured out his shock and grief since the passing of the 45 years old celebrating her Legacy which he says cannot be erased from the face of the country’s media magazine

Tinina is set to be buried on Wednesday, March 27 in Olokirikirai, Narok county.
