The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition has said the coalition is committed to engage Kenya Kwanza in bipartisan talks in a bid to end the current political stalemate being witnessed in the country.
Azimio made the resolution in a Parliamentary Group meeting held at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation offices on tuesday.
The opposition coalition agreed to support the five-member delegation, led by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, that was unveiled on Monday to engage in talks with the Kenya Kwanza team.
The party also picked DAP party leader Eugene Wamalwa, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, Malindi MP Amina Mnyazi and Nyamira Senator Okong’o Omogeni to be part of the team.
On Saturday , Azimio confirmed entering into an agreement with Kenya Kwanza to establish a 10-member committee to resolve issues in the country.
The Kenya Kwanza side will also unveil their team of five members for the ten-member committee.
The high cost of living, a review of the 2022 General Election, and the bipartisan re-organisation of the IEBC are some of the issues the Azimio delegation plans to bring up.
