Jubilee decries biased nomination selection

Former Ndaragwa Member of Parliament Jeremiah Kioni has Condemned the random arrests and abductions of people affiliated to Azimio la Umoja coalition.

The legislator said he had to switch off his phones to escape the police dragnet.

The MP added that he visited Ndaragwa anonymously on Sunday, to avoid being tracked by police.

“My phones were off… we have a recent phenomenon on our roads… they are called Subarus,” Kioni said.

“I haven’t used these phones since Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  I started using these things on Sunday when I said mbaya ni mbaya.”

Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni urged the state to cease manhandling former president Uhuru Kenyatta saying things will get out of hand

This comes after the  police officers  on friday raided the residence of Uhuru’s eldest son Jomon Karen .

The police are said to have carried out a search to establish if he is in possession of any weapons including firearms.

“If they continue this thing about Uhuru Kenyatta, they are going to see things they have never seen from some of us. You cannot do the things you are doing to him,” Kioni said.

The state also withdrew General Service Unit and Administration Police officers who had been guarding the former First Lady’s homes Mama Ngina Kenyatta in Nairobi and Gatundu.

Kioni condemned the government adding that former presidents like Moi and Kibaki did not go through such things.
