Machogu: standards of Kenya’s Drama Festival have improved

Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu has commended Kenya’s Drama Festival saying the standards have improved over the years.

Speaking at State House Nairobi, the CS told President William Ruto that his ministry in collaboration with that of Sports and Culture, seek to grow Kenya’s Creative Arts Industry internationally.

“We are combining efforts your excellency, in order to further grow this reality that we have today, so that this young people with the talents they have, can even be able to go to international level,” he said.

President Ruto today hosted the Kenya National Drama Festival State Concert.

This is the first State Concert that Ruto is hosting since he assumed office.

The event includes winning performances from various regions in the country.

Present also is Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, and Sports CS Ababu Namwamba.
