CA Suspends Licences of TV station Linked to Pst Ezekiel and Mackenzie

The Communication Authority of Kenya has suspended the New Life TV Kenya owned by Pastor Ezekiel Odera and Times TV owned by Paul Mackenzi in the latest  efforts by the state to end religious cultism.

The suspension of the station comes hot over heels with the arrest of the two clerics with a verdict of a Shanzu court to have pastor Ezekiel remain in remand until Tuesday when a prosecutor’s application will be determined.

The prosecution led by assistant DPP Peter Kiprop says it is undertaking investigations relating to serious crimes that the Respondent is jointly and by conspiracy suspected to have committed.

Ezekiel Odero is accused of Aiding Suicide; Abduction; Radicalization, Genocide; Crimes Against Humanity; Child Cruelty, Fraud and Money Laundering and for being accessories before or after the fact.
