Allies of President William Ruto who lost in the August 2022 elections have been nominated as Chief Administrative Secretaries.
The names were revealed by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei .Some of the poll losers who have been nominated to the positions include Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero who had ran for Homa Bay Gubernatorial seat, Millicent Omanga ran for Nairobi Woman rep position , Catherine Waruguru for Laikipia East, Onesmus Ngunjiri for Bahati mp , Bishop Margaret Wanjiru for Nairobi Senator , Isaac Mwaura for Ruiru MP and Rehema Jaldesa for Isiolo Woman Rep
Former football star McDonald Mariga among others did not make the cut despite being shortlisted for the post.
Mariga unsuccessfully vied for Kibera parliamentary seat on a UDA ticket.
Another ally of President Ruto who has missed despite making it to the Public Service Commission interview list is ex-Soi MP Caleb Kositany.
Veteran journalist Mwanaisha Chidzuga has also missed out on the seat despite making it to the shortlist.
She unsuccessfully vied for Matuga parliamentary seat on a UDA ticket.
Chidzuga however landed a new role with a newly established radio station.
The names will however be subjected to approval by the National Assembly.
