On 10th of February, the body of Magoha will arrive at Township Primary School – Yala, before a procession leading up to St Mary’s Secondary School, and subsequently a mass to follow at his home in Nyamninia.

“The family notes with gratitude the immense love for and high regard with which the late Magoha was held by Kenyans from all works of life.

It should be remembered that in his last tour of duty as CS Education, Magoha was always in the midst of children and students. This explains why we are focusing on the schools where he had a major impact on learners,” added Jwan.

Magoha, 71, died on 24th January at the Nairobi Hospital.

He has been mourned by many as a man of integrity and public servant who was passionate with his work.

The late professor was a family man with a wife – Odudu Barbara Magoha and one son – Michael Magoha.
