The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) says it is ready for the by-elections in Kandara, Garissa Township and Elgeyo Marakwet on Thursday.
It says training of the Presiding officers, deputy presiding officers and clerks was completed earlier this week.
The by-elections for were triggered by cabinet appointments.
In Elgeyo Marakwet County, six candidates are eyeing to succeed former Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who was appointed as Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary.
Some of the candidates in the senatorial race include; former Marakwet West MP William Kisang of UDA, Timothy Tanui of The New Democrats and human rights activist Jerotich Seii of Safina party.
In the Kandara parliamentary by-election, candidates are seeking to replace Alice Muthoni Wahome who was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation.
The race has attracted a total of eight candidates, five from different political parties and three independents.
Among those set to battle it out with UDA party’s Chege Njuguna include; Kibiru PMG Junior of Usawa Kwa Wote party, Samuel Kioi of The new Democrats party, and Tutus Njau of Ford Asili.
In the Garissa township parliamentary by-election, six candidates will be seeking to succeed Aden Duale who was appointed as the Defence Cabinet Secretary.
The race has attracted six candidates, including Abdifaisal Amin of ODM, Nassir Mohamed Dolal of UDM and Mohamed Barrow Dekow of UDA.
