Arsenal drop points as Man. United register another win.

Arsenal dropped two precious points after a barren draw against Newcastle at the Emirates stadium.

A resilient Magpies display kept the Gunners at bay and brought to an end their 11-game Premier League winning streak at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was left frustrated at full-time and said his side were wrongly denied two penalties .

Arteta added that Burn pulled Gabriel back after a free-kick, before Jacob Murphy appeared to handle the ball in the final minutes.

“There were two penalties. It’s very simple. I’m talking about what I’ve seen. It was two scandalous penalties,” said Arteta.

Arsenal were hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table to 10 points but found themselves drawn back by resolute Newcastle.

The gunners are now eight points clear with Manchester city playing on Thursday against Chelsea.

AT Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford scored again as Manchester United stretched their winning run in all competitions to six games with a comfortable 3-0  victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Casemiro had given United the lead in the first half before Luke Shaw doubled the lead after resumption.

United are now on 35 points same with Newcastle who have played a game more.
