Azimio leaders meet with religious leaders in Machakos

Azimio la Umoja coalition leaders have met with Religious Leaders in Machakos Sports Club.

Speaking at the event, Odinga said he cannot appear to be partisan but is instead a huge supporter of every candidate vying under Azimio.

He exuded happiness in the cohesion between the church and politics, adding that if he becomes president he will ensure that the constitution respects the rights of every citizen in the country.

Odinga called on Christians to walk in accordance with their faith.

He also castigated discrimination against other religions saying this was a pre-colonial act.

This is even as he lobbied for votes as the nation heads towards the general election.
