Agano party candidate attends one-man debate

Agano presidential candidate David Mwaure denies that the church has failed to support the country’s governance noting that it has not been deeply involved.

Speaking during the presidential debate, at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Mwaure stated that the church has actively called for integrity in leadership although only few men of the cloth, have been in governance positions.

For this reason, he believes he is a great representative of the church, and the right fit for the country’s top job.

Waihiga says he holds a position in responsibility that makes him the right fit for the presidency although he lacks a proven track record in public service.

He boasted his efforts in service delivery and leadership, unlike his competitors.

If he assumes office, Mwaure says he will he will employ make-shift ways to help curb the issue of congestion in schools. among the plans he has include discussing and improving the Competency Based Curriculum, pumping money into the education sector as well as employing virtual means of educating children.

“I would review CBC with an aim to improve it,” he said.
