Infotrak: Odinga is the Most Preferred Presidential Aspirant

A report released by Infotrak Research Firm reveals that Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance  Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga is the most preferred candidate in Nairobi County.

Odinga is the most popular with 49 percent followed by his closest rival in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance William Ruto with 30 percent.

Roots party’s George Wajackoyah was ranked third with 5 percent and David Mwaure of Agano party came fifth with 0.3 per cent.

15 percent of those polled refused to disclose their preferred candidate, with 70 percent of those who said they will vote for Raila citing his experience and development track record.

On experience and track record Ruto managed to attain 45 percent.

Separately, infotrak says Johnson Sakaja is the most popular candidate in the Nairobi Gubernatorial race at 39 percent, while Polycarp Igathe follows with 33 percent.

Independent aspirant Agnes Kagure is trailing at 0.4 percent.

Meanwhile, 24 percent of Nairobians are undecided on who to vote for as the next governor.

On the Nairobi senatorial race, Edwin Sifuna is the most preferred candidate ahead of his closest competitor Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.

The survey was conducted between 2nd and 3rd of July 2022.

It targeted 1,024 Kenyans across the 17 constituencies in Nairobi.
