The Nairobi Metropolitan Services has informed Public Service Vehicle operators and the general public that the Green Park Bus Terminal will commence operations this month.

Starting 24th May,  all PSVs plying Ngong’ road and Argwings Kodhek road will pick and drop passengers at the Green Park Bus Terminal.

Starting 27th of May, all PSVs plying Lang’ata road will also  pick and drop passengers at the Terminal.

Only three matatus per Sacco will be allowed to access the terminal at any given time.

A violation of the regulation will lead to punishment, blacklisting and suspension of PSV badges of drivers and conductors.

Green Park is among six other termini the NMS is setting up at a cost of Sh350 million.

The others include Desai, Park Road, Ladhies-Muthurwa, Fig Tree terminus and Bunyala-Workshop Road.

According to NMS, the terminal has a capacity to accommodate 300 to 350 vehicles at any given time and up to 20,000 matatus in a day.
