Political leaders and residents in Rift Valley celebrate Rigathi Gachagua as Ruto’s running mate

Political leaders and Residents of the former Rift Valley Province went into Jubilation after the Deputy President William Ruto picked Mathira Constituency Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate ahead of the Monday 16 deadline.

Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago who led other political leaders, clergy and residents of North Rift region in Thanksgiving prayer held in Eldoret town said, Ruto’s decision to pick Gachagua is a boost to Ruto’s Statehouse bid.

We the people of Rift Valley are very happy for what has happened. With Gachagua’s vast experience,we know Kenya Kwanza will win the Presidential elections in the August 9 polls” Mandago said.

Emurua Dikir legislator Johana Ng’eno said Mt. Kenya region will fully support Ruto’s Presidential bid.

In Trans Nzoia County, Eliud Tormoi, a political analyst said Ruto-Rigathi combination is a perfect match and exuded confidence that Kenya Kwanza Alliance will win the Presidential elections with a huge margin.

FORD Kenya Secretary General who is also Kiminini constituency lawmaker Chris Wamalwa said Rigathi is a great team with a wealth of experience.

In Nandi County, residents went to the streets of Kapsabet and Nandi hills town to celebrate Ruto’s long awaited decision.

In Nakuru County, locals happily received the news and congratulated Gachagua
