The Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) has launched an attack on Kenya Kwanza, following Deputy President William Ruto’s move of trying to bring back some of the BBI proposals.

Addressing the press from Chui house in Nairobi, DAP patron Eugene Wamalwa noted that DP Ruto’s promises of  creating new government positions for his allies in Kenya Kwanza is contrary to what the alliance says it stands for.

According to Wamalwa, Kenya Kwanza is misleading Kenyans.

“The problem with Kenya Kwanza is that they don’t say what they mean, and they don’t mean what they say,” said Wamalwa.

He then drummed up support for Azimio’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga, saying his government will create a better Kenya .

“With Raila, we’ll continue with the journey of reforming this country, strengthening devolution, and creating a more equitable & inclusive society called Kenya,” he added.

Meanwhile, Azimio la Umoja One Kenya party Council Secretary-General Junet Mohammed says that Kenya Kwanza Co-principals – ANC Boss Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula, and other Kenya Kwanza leaders have been conned by the DP.

This is comes after a document which was deposited with the Registrar of Political Parties on Sunday, was released by Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki, outlining Kenya Kwanza’s power sharing and government structures should they clinch the presidency.
