Education and Interior ministries launch final KCPE and KCSE exams process

The Ministry of Education led by CS George Magoha and Interior CS Fred Matiang’i have launched the 2021 KCPE and KCSE exams final process at Kenya School of Government in Nairobi.

According to Magoha, the ministry of education is in synergy with the interior ministry, to ensure the national exams are guarded against fraud.

This is as the education ministry gears towards conducting national examinations for both 2021 and 2022 KCPE and KCSE candidates.

On the ongoing construction of the Competency Based Curriculum classrooms in all 47 counties, the process is at 70 percent.

Additionally, Magoha urged the Education county Directors to ensure the process is completed before schools reopen for the new school calendar in March

Meanwhile Interior CS Fred Matiangi has ordered the arrest of Tot highschool principal for allowing the schools bus to be on the road with students after 6 pm.

The order by Matiangi has elicited anger after Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen criticized the interior ministry for failing to deal with the insecurity in Kerio valley.

Meanwhile, Education CS George Magoha has also insisted that no school bus will be allowed to operate beyond 6.30 pm .
