Miguna must get travel documents from Ottawa Canada to be allowed back in Kenya

Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho has rubbished claims of  red alerts imposed on lawyer Miguna Miguna.

Speaking at the High Court, Kibicho stated that the exiled lawyer should get his travel documents  at the Kenya High Commission in Ottawa, Canada   so as to be allowed to re-enter the country.

Dr Kibicho said the government has no intention of allowing Dr Miguna back using the national identity card.

Miguna’s lawyer Nelson Havi had filed another petition on the red alert on their client that stopped him from travelling into the country early this week.

Justice Hedwig Ong’undi will rule on the matter next week on Monday . Miguna who is still in Berlin Germany, said he will stay put until the court rules on the matter .

This is the second time the controversial lawyer has been stopped from entering the country following the deportation to Canada.

The deportation of Miguna arose after he was seen swearing in Raila Odinga as the peoples President following the 2017 general election.
