Kenya to receive more pfizer doses next Week.

Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has flagged off the outreach and enhanced communication campaign during the launch of the National Accelerated covid-19 vaccination.

Speaking today in Kiambu, the CS said that Kenya will start receiving the Pfizer dose next week and a start of the mobile vaccination drive to reach more Kenyans will be on the kick.

The CS further noted that a receival of special syringes that would be used to administer the Pfizer vaccine was ready for the mobile intensification process.

“Lets mobilize the vehicles we have for other purposes this system so that we can reached the unreached as far as this vaccination is concerned” the Health Cabinet Secretary said.

Meanwhile, The death toll is now at 5, 119 after 3 persons died.

2, 813, 477 persons have so far been vaccinated against Covid-1…Meanwhile, 231 persons have recovered from Covid-19 today.

159 from Home-Care and 72 from different hospitals countrywide.

The total reoveries now stand at 241, 411.

However the country’s positivity rate is at 6.4 percent following 404 new infections from a sample size of 6,309.

The total confirmed positive cases are now 249, 174.
