Call for Unity at the national prayer breakfast

President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on unity among Kenyans in order to overcome the challenges facing the country.

Speaking during the national prayer breakfast, President Uhuru also emphasized the  importance of taking  time in prayer for God’s intervention on issues in the country. 

The president also challenged both houses of parliament to fast track legislation that will help Kenyans access healthcare.

The deputy president William Ruto also insisted the importance of the prayer in shopping the future of the nation.

National assembly Speaker Justin Muturi welcomed the guests.

He said the prayer breakfast comes at an opportune time when the country is facing a pandemic that has affected all sectors .
