The Health Ministry is asking Kenyans to allow frontline workers first priority in the receiving the Covid-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.
This is because, the AstraZeneca doses are quickly running out of stock.
Health CAS Rashid Aman, is however assuring delivery of an additional 2.5 million doses by May this year.
Moreover, he says the 2nd phase of the vaccination exercise will allow more Kenyans to receive the jab.
on the other hand, 74,698 health care workers have received the jab, alongside 14, 364 security officers and 24, 615 teachers.
