3 guards arrested over stealing an ambulance in Uganda.

Three security guards have been arrested in connection with a stolen ambulance in Uganda.

The security guards were previously stationed at the Arua Referral Hospital in Arua, northern Uganda.

while addressing the press, West Nile Police spokesperson Josephine Angucia said “Relevant statements were obtained from the hospital, scene of crime visited and documented. Three-night security guards who were on duty on the fateful night were arrested to assist police with investigations but their names have been concealed in order not to jeopardize investigations,”

“The vehicle was reported missing at Arua Police station under CRB 305/2021.” she added.

The hospital’s head of security Avaga Johnston Norman is the one who reported that the Toyota Land Cruiser of registration UG6812M was missing.

Police are interrogating the suspects to find out how the ambulance was driven from the parking lot while they were on duty.
