Boko Haram militants attack a Cameroon village

Gunmen of the Militant group Boko Haram have attacked Cameroon’s Far North region. Because of this, three people – a man and two women – have died.

In regards to the incident, a municipal councilor has confirmed the casualties. He adds, the attack took place in the village of Bla-Goussi Tourou.

The insurgents are notorious for attacking villages on foot. In addition to this, they are accompanied by trucks with machine guns.

In another relatable attack in Nigeria, the militants are responsible for the killing of at least 36,000 people and displacement of around two million since 2009, according to the United Nations.

This incident follows the abducting of 3 teachers in Nigeria’s Kaduna state.
