KCPE and KCSE preparations complete says Education CS Magoha

Feb 25th ,2021 Education CS George Magoha says preparations for KCPE and KCSE exams are complete.

Speaking at Kiu Primary school in Kiambu county, the CS however says, candidates in schools that have been affected by floods may be moved to examination centres closer to their schools.

Magoha was responding to concerns by school heads on the level of unpreparedness of different entities that support the success of examinations.

According to a revised timetable from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) will commence on Monday ,March 22 and end on Wednesday March 24.

The class eight candidates will start with Mathematics, English Language and English Composition exams on Monday, March 22, 2021.

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, they will sit Science, Kiswahili Lugha and Kiswahili Insha exams and on day three, they will wrap their exams with Social Studies and Religious Exams.

The Kenya certificate of Secondary education KCSE students will  begin their written exams on March 25 which is on a Thursday .

The timetable for the national exams was revised after the corona virus pandemic kept the students away from school for ten months in 2020.
