French Embassy outsources visa application service provider

The French Embassy has officially inaugurated TLScontact as their new visa application centre in Nairobi, meant to decongest services offered within their embassy.

The French Embassy says they decided to outsource Visa application services from TLScontact, whose printers began working on November 5th 2024 and serve around 11 countries.

Following an assessment, the embassy observed that applicants wishing to travel to France were facing difficulties in booking appointments at the French Embassy’s Visa section.

The French Embassy spokesperson Romain Boyer, has affirmed that the new partnership is in line with the French government’s ambitious goal of surpassing the one million tourist goal attained last year, and granting applicants wholesome experience during the visa application process.

“Please, welcome to France. For any reason; tourism, professional purposes, studies, family purposes. Visa, which is for a stay that’s shorter than 90 days, or for a longer stay, can now be applied here at TLS,” Boyer noted.

TLScontact has been operating in Kenya and Tanzania since 2014, already providing visa services for Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom. With state-of-the-art facilities and an efficient processing system, TLS contact has pledged to support France in providing a smoother customer experience for visa applicants.
