The director of criminal investigation has appealed to the general public to share information of pictured alleged looters of goods in nairobi during last week anti finance bill protests

Through their social media pages, DCI says the pictured individuals and more are still at large  after masquerading as protesters during last Tuesday protests, looting several shops in the CBD and various parts of the country

The DCI calls upon the individuals whose faces appear below to present themselves to the nearest DCI offices for further action.”

According to the investigators, the DCI’s Imaging and Acoustic Unit domiciled at the National Forensic Laboratory has since retrieved numerous CCTV footages that captured identifiable persons, while those already arrested have today been presented before the courts for charges.

The DCI has however remained silent on the number of supposed criminals who were in court today as well as progress on the investigation on police officers said to have killed innocent protesters.

The DCI have also not released Details of police officers captured stealing electronics at different large retails shops in  various parts of the country despite President William Ruto’s assertion that officers found to have killed innocent lives and looted will face the full force of the law.

This, as the chairperson of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights Roseline Odede,  insisted that 24 deaths have so far been reported from the anti-Finance Bill protests.

In a statement K-N-C-H-R  dismissed President William Ruto’s figures reported since the protests began on June 18 adding that it has not yet issued a statement regarding Githurai killings citing insufficient information.

In a televised interview at State House, Ruto accused K-N-C-H-R of fabricating figures regarding police actions in Githurai on Tuesday last week.
