Kindiki names 36 suspected to be behind terror acts

36 suspects unveiled by the Interior Ministry Cabinet Secretary  Kithure Kindiki have been ordered to surrender to any Police Station within the country before the end of  Wednesday

Kithure Kindiki  unveiled the names of the most wanted terror suspects linked to several terror incidents in Lamu County and the Boni Enclave generally.

CS Kindiki has accused the suspects, all males, of being behind  placing Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) on various earth roads and the killing of civilians along the Lamu-With-Garden Highway.

Kindiki also pointed finger to the suspects over cold-blooded murders of civilians at Lango la Simba, Witu, Mpeketoni, Juhudi, Salama, Hindi, and other areas and the attack on the American Military Base at Manda Bay on January 5, 2020

“Security and Intelligence agencies are appealing to the public to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of thirty five (35) masterminds of the terror network responsible for the deadly terrorist attacks in Lamu County and the Boni Enclave generally,” Kindiki said.

Further Kindiki has appealed to the public to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of the 35 suspects.

CS Kindiki said that a substantial cash reward will be offered to any person who provides credible information leading to the arrest of any of the suspects.
