Muhoroni Youth fined Ksh. 300,000 after fans disrupted match against KCB Fc

Muhoroni Youth will have to play their next five home matches away and in an empty stadium, after the Football Kenya Federation  slapped heavy sanctions on them following their abandoned tie against KCB FC on Monday.

The FKF Disciplinary Committee awarded KCB victory of the match in which they led 1-0 by the time of abandonment, with a 2-0 win, while Muhoroni have been slapped with a fine of Sh300,000.

The match was aborted in the 90th minute after a section of fans stormed into the pitch where KCB remonstrated against what appeared to be a soft foul awarded against them.

KCB termed the actions by the Muhoroni supporters, terming the actions as hooliganism. “Hooliganism should not have a place in our football,” read the club’s social post.

The Muhoroni youth chairman, Moses Adagala, has also been banned from attending the club’s next three games.

Muhoroni currently sit in position 13 with six points whereas KCB are sixth with eight points.
