A skyscraper in Russia’s capital Moscow has been hit again by a drone.
Several drones were shot down overnight, but “one flew into the same tower at the Moskva City complex” that was targeted on Sunday.
Mayor Sergei Sobyanin says The building’s facade was damaged on the 21st floor but No injuries have been reported.
In a brief statement, Mr Sobyanin said that “glazing was destroyed over 150 square metres” and that emergency services were working on the scene.
Two more Ukrainian drones were shot down by anti-aircraft systems elsewhere in the Moscow region, Russia’s defence ministry said, claiming to have thwarted a Ukrainian “terrorist attack”.
Russia’s defense ministry blamed Ukraine for the latest attack.
Although Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for specific incidents, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said attacks on Russian territory are an “inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process”.
Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
