Kenya drops to 105 in the latest FIFA rankings

Kenya has dropped to position 105 in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday. Kenya was previously ranked 102 before the indefinite suspension that was lifted late last year.

Kenya is currently not participating in any qualifiers following the previous ban but have played a number of friendlies. Kenya was beaten 2-1 by Iran in the first friendly and won 1-0 against Pakistan but lost 1-0 to minnows Mauritius.

Uganda i the top East Africa ranked country in position 94 while Tanzania are in position 134 while Rwanda and Burundi stand in position 139 and 140 respectively .

World cup winners Argentina maintained the top spot followed by France with Brazil coming in third. England climb to fourth place and Belgium drop to fifth.

Croatia come in sixth followed by Netherlands and Italy and Portugal are eighth and ninth respectively with Spain closing the top ten of the rankings.

Morocco is the the top ranked nation in the rankings after reaching the semi finals of the 2022 world cup finals coming in 13th . They are followed by Senegal and Tunisia.
