Chelsea looking to sign more players after Southampton defeat

Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel  has maintained that he needs to make more signings before the transfer window closes after going down 2-1 to Southamptom.

The blues were a little blunt in front even after Raheem  Sterling had put them ahead but threw away the lead to come out without a point at the St Mary’s .

Southampton came from behind to take all the three points  to condemn Chelsea to their second loss of the season.

Raheem Sterling got Chelsea ahead  with his third goal in two games in the 23rd minute.

but Romeo Lavia fired a superb effort beyond Edouard Mendy after Chelsea failed to properly clear a corner.

Adam Armstrong got the winner just before half time and saints held on through the second period  for a famous win.

In other results Crystal palace drew one all with Brentford same as Leeds United and Everton. Fulham beat Brighton 2-1 .
