Transferred police commanders dispatched to new stations

A number of police commanders have been dispatched to their respective stations following changes made by the Inspector General of police Hillary Mutyambai on 18th of March.

In the changes, Rift Valley and Central regions have received new police commanders.

The new Coast regional police commander is Titus Karuri who was moved from Central, swapping positions with Musyoki Manase.

The new police commander of the Rift Valley – Tom Odero, who has been serving at the National Counter Terrorism Centre, has swapped positions with Fredrick Ochieng.

This is as the Former Nairobi police boss Augustine Nthumbi was moved to police headquarters Vigilance House as a liaison officer.

Meanwhile, the acting police boss for Nairobi is James Mugera.
Police headquarters say the changes are aimed at boosting operations in the country.
