Thousands of people have arrived at the Sagana State Lodge ahead of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Sagana Three meeting in Nyeri County today.
President Uhuru has invited more than 6,000 delegates to the meeting, where he is expected to give a political direction in the forthcoming general election.
He will use the meeting to stump his authority in the central region where his deputy turned political nemesis William Ruto has been making rounds.
The president is also expected to oversee the opening of different development projects in the county.
The Jubilee party that has since rebranded its logo is also expected to hold its national delegates conference on Saturday.
The party is widely expected to ratify its association with the ODM party in the Azimio la Umoja movement.
President Uhuru has already hinted that he will support ODM leader Raila Odinga in the presidential election.
The move has led to the Kenya kwanza outfit led by DP Ruto labeling Odinga a state project however the ODM Chief Odinga has denied the claims saying he is self made.
This comes days before both Jubilee and ODM hold their National Delegates Conventions on 25th and 26th of February.
