100 metres sensation Ferdinand Omanyala, has been crowned the 2021 SOYA Sportsman of the Year.
Omanyala was feted during the award ceremony held at the Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega on Tuesday night.
Omanyala beat a gallant field of Eliud Kipchoge ,Emmanuel Korir , Alvin ‘Bufa’ Otieno and rally driver Carl Tundo . Omanyala came to the lime light when he competed in the Olympics 100 metres and also broke the african record in the same distance
