President Uhuru Kenyatta defends his track record in state of the nation address

President Uhuru Kenyatta is this afternoon expected make the state of the nation address in a joint sitting of parliament .

The President is expected at the parliament buildings at 2 pm for the awaited address.  

Expectations are high on how the head of state is planning to tackle the high cost of living and unemployment .

The address will be key having that his ten years stint comes to an end in August 2022.

The latest polls by TIFA indicated that Kenyans are more concerned by high cost of living and unemployment . 

The recovery of the economy will also be a subject that the president is expected to touch . The rise of fuel prices has been a concern for Kenyans pushing up the cost of production for farmers.
