Lewis keeps title hopes alive with a magnificent drive at the Brazilian grand prix

Lewis Hamilton battled form 10th on the grid to win the Brazilian grand prix and cut Max Veesrtappen lead to 14 points.

Lewis Hamilton’s victory in the Brazilian Grand Prix was the 101st of his career and stands comparison with the finest in his garlanded story.

In five laps, he roared past seven cars ,the last of those places handed to him by team-mate Valtteri Bottas, who was honest enough to admit after starting on pole and ending up third.

His move on Verstappen came 11 laps after the Dutchman forced him off track when Hamilton made another attempt.

Had Verstappen held Hamilton off, he would have been able to finish second behind the Mercedes driver at the three remaining races in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi and still win the title.

Now, the title race is wide open and the two head to the Middle East with everything to play for.
