The Jubilee party has announced that its National Delegates Conference (NDC) will be held on 30th of November in Nairobi.

In a communication to its members, party Secretary General Raphael Tuju said among the agendas will be to review party policies and review the party constitution to comply with the political parties  and the election act.

Take Notice, a meeting of the National Delegates Convention, shall be held at 10:00am on the 30th day of November, 2021 at Kasarani,” said Tuju.

The party will also consider other matters referred to the NDC by the national governing council and the national executive committee.

It will further ratify the proposal to have a coalition agreement with the ODM party ahead of the 2022 general election.

The NDC comes at a time when the ruling party has been split with some of its members moving to the UDA party including deputy party leader William Ruto.

In regards to the division the party has also announced plans to revamp ahead of the 2022 polls.

Jubilee will clean its house at the local and national levels, and shake off most of the bad elements who have been undermining the party, including, unfortunately, none other than the Deputy Party leader William Ruto,” said Jubilee ‘s Parliamentary Caucus on 4th of November 2021.

As a party we will swallow any bitter pill if that is the only guarantee for a better, healthier and more robust party.”

According to the group, the move is to protect the party legacy that has been created over the past 10 years.
