Antonio Conte has been appointed as manager of Tottenham hotspur to replace sacked manager Nuno Espirito Santo .
Conte has signed a 13 million pounds deal until 2023 with an option to extend .
He has already met the players as attention swiftly turns to Thursday’s Europa Conference League clash with Vitesse.
Conte has been out of work since leaving Inter Milan in May, just weeks after he led the club to a first Serie A title in 11 years.
He won the Premier League and FA Cup at Chelsea but was sacked in July 2018 after a disappointing second year in charge.
The former midfielder has also managed Juventus from 2011-14, winning three Serie A titles, and he took charge of the Italian national team from 2014-16.
Spurs are eighth in the Premier League and 10 points behind leaders Chelsea and they will play Everton on Sunday.
