All M-Pesa services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable as from Tuesday the 19th of October at 11:59pm to 4:00am on Wednesday 20th of October for a planned sessioned maintenance
In a statement issued by Safaricom PLC ChieF executive officer, Samuel Ndegwa, he says that the service provider company is constantly investing and innovating M-Pesa to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of customers as well as continue to support our partners in their business ambitions.
The leading telecommunications network issues this prior warning to its customers in order for better planning and avoid inconveniencing. Also the service provider fears huge losses to the company as they will lose several transactions within their money service network.
